The first non-musical group residency in Las Vegas, is a collective with a forever evolving focus—bring hip hop to the world. I partnered with this group and have never looked back. We are constantly creating new musical events.
From branding to marketing designs to motion graphics, we find ways to create content for all audiences looking for a good vibe with some good music.
SOULSTICE
BRAND IDENTITY
Groovy, warm, soulful, good vibes, make the audience feel brightness of soul, r&b, and hiphop music were the exact words the client requested.
COLOR SCHEME
With these words in mind, I knew warm and uplifting hues were needed. So I started with a warm and vibrant orange. To prevent designs from falling a bit flat, I also incorporated a spectrum from warm yellows to light reds to convey an more literal warmth feeling and also added a complimentary purple for some cool notes.
TYPOGRAPHY
To keep on theme, the primary typeface needed to be groovy and smooth but also inviting and warm to continue with the theme. With this in mind, Almond Buttery was the perfect choice for both the the primary and secondary logos to best suit all social media designs but also it's easy legibility would also be great for billboards along the Las Vegas strip and appeal to tourists.
To compliment such a font, Univers was the best counterpart for it's clean and strict structural aspects to help balance any layout and keep body text clear for all to read any place at any time.

IN THE WILD

MAYJAH VIBRATIONS
As a reggae meets hip-hop kind of music event.
brand identity
Color Scheme
We wanted to stay true to reggae themes but also wanted to keep legibility in mind.
Overall, the colors utilized in all branding assets are highly saturated, warm but bold—very much similar to a vivid desert sunset.
Typography
Teenage Marley was the primary typeface for all designs as well as the logo. Not only is it inspired by the Marley name and it's influence in reggae music but also fit the casual and unique intention all events under this name aims for.
A secondary typeface to keep all layouts balanced is Menda for it's extra wide, strong and clear legibility.
